Net Lounge is our new outdoor armchair made entirely from recyclable polypropylene fiberglass, with a generous deep seat, enveloping shape and wave-like profile conveying its strong character in a single motion.

Featuring a minimal and sinuous design that evokes the gentle waves of the sea, Net Lounge has a light breathable frame allowing optimal ergonomic distribution of body weight.  Net Lounge is also fitted with practical towel clips, useful for keeping a towel in place and preventing it from slipping.

It is the perfect chair for poolside, terraces and all outdoor spaces, including private ones, dedicated to doing nothing, enjoying the sun, watching sunsets, reading, dozing off…

After the Red Dot Design Award and the ADI Design Index Award for Doga, the Green Good Design Award and the Prize Designs for Modern Furniture and Lighting Award for Stack and Combo, as well as the Archiproducts Design Award for Stack Mini, 2022 also includes the Good Design® Award for Net Lounge.

The outdoor relaxing armchair with its restful, enveloping wave-like profile, designed by Raffaello Galiotto and made of entirely recyclable fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene, has received one of the most renowned and long-established design awards from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Modular outdoor sofa for free compositions to suit any space

Komodo is a modular resin frame on which padded cushions and backs can be attached on all sides, easily and intuitively. This system makes it possible to design potentially endless sequences of stylish and relaxing armchairs.

The ramification of the weaving pattern on the frame derives from careful geometrical design, which also involves the innovative system for attaching the seat and back, which simply swivel in place. This solution avoids unsightly mechanisms and visible slots while retaining the smooth harmonious styling of the woven design on the seat and back.

Particular attention has also been paid to the packaging and to volume containment, making it possible to reposition this easy-to-disassemble sitting room in more compact settings.

Komodo is available in 3 colours (bianco, antracite, tortora) with various upholstery types and colours. It is available for purchase in the standard 5-seater version (Komodo 5) or in the most diverse customisable versions: anyone can order a different composition (starting with a simple armchair) to accommodate all spaces, tastes and requirements.

Nardi at ICFF in NYC

Nardi is to take part in the 29th edition of ICFF, the leading contemporary design show in North America.

Nardi’s latest new products will be revealed between 21st and 24th May at the Javits Convention Center in New York, including the Net collection (Net, Net Relax, Bit, Net Bench), the new Rio extending table and the Pop stool.

Irresistible NET Relax

Irresistible and sophisticated,NET Relax is a fibre-glass resin armchair fitted with a soft fabric cushion in gently contrasting colours.

Cool and relaxing, NET’s monocoque is decorated with a pattern of square slots, which are distributed evenly over the entire surface of the armchair, and are the result of a complex 3D modelling effort along with milling.

The body therefore appears matt, slightly rounded and extremely pleasant to touch. The perimeter is bordered by a rectangular-section ribbon that encourages you to rest your arms on it, and it proceeds seamlessly to mark out the chair legs.

This resin armchair extends Nardi’s trend of sophisticated relaxation, since it is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use and it is available in an appealing range of colours, which also plays on chiaro-scuro effects created by the pattern and by the fabric chosen for the padded parts.

NET Relax is completely Made in Italy, from concept design to the creation of moulds and end production. It is stackable and does not require any particular maintenance work and it is 100% recyclable.

The product will be available from June 2016.
